SOLAR FIELD CONSULTATION EVENT
Renewable Power is a partner in a field solar project on the disused Culmhead Aerodrome in Somerset. The Southwest has the greatest concentration of sunshine in the UK and this will provide an economically viable way of harnessing the energy to generate electricity equivalent to the needs of up to 2,000 homes. Community
Our company has strong connections with our local community and are actively involved in community-based projects, most notably currently with Brendon Energy Limited, which has had a successful share offering and installation of its first solar PV site.
Hydropower
We have considerable expertise in hydro-electric power and can provide feasibility studies, due diligence analysis and install power systems. We are developing a number of hydropower schemes based on Archimedian screw turbines, where we operate the scheme and pay the land owner rent and/or free electricity.
Consultancy
Through our consultancy work we can advise you over the full range of of Renewable Energy and low carbon technologies including wind turbines, hydro-electric power, biomass, heat pumps, combined heat and power (CHP), solar hot water and photo-voltaics ( solar panels, which generate electricity).
FREE BIOMASS HEATING OFFER
We have financial backing, which is currently focussed on opportunities for Renewable Heat. For commercial, public sector and charitable organisations we are able to install a brand new biomass boiler free of charge to replace an oil, propane or LPG fired heating system. Turning biomass into electricity...
We also market technology to gasify wood and other biomass and generate electricity from the gas. This "emerging technology" receives strong support from Central Government through double incentives. If you have exisiting or forth-coming planning consent for Biomass Combined Heat and Power (CHP) then we have Biomass CHP equipment ready to deploy to provide you with income in the form of heat and power.
