As a result of RHI scheme, private sector investors are offering a zero cost upgrade to commercial, public sector and charity organisations to replace their old boilers with new
The key benefits to commercial and public sector organisations are:
Replacement of an old oil/gas based boiler with a brand new biomass boiler at no cost
15%-40% savings in fuel costs (1)

  - (2.9 - 4.0 pence per kW for biomass Vs 4.7 – 5.8 pence per kW for Gas/Oil)

Lower carbon footprint, with green energy counting towards the Zero Carbon Buildings Initiative and Carbon Reduction Commitment
In exchange for providing the 100% funding and leasing the new biomass boiler to commercial, public sector and charity organisations, the investors will receive the RHI
