Renewable Power have a strong community focus and have worked closely with Somerset County Council to project-manage a wind turbine and photo-voltaic array project at Milverton School. The school has achieved Gold Flag Eco-School Status.

An array of Solar electric Photo-Voltaic (PV) panels has been installed on the school roof. This achieves a 2kW peak output in full sun at mid-day in June and July.

We have also been prime contributors to the bid to establish the first Climate Change Solutions Centre at the Seale Hayne Campus near Plymouth.

We are also closely involved with another grass roots initiative, Bovey Climate Action.

Our ethos is that communities must be supported because they have an extremely important role to play in preventing climate change.
